Tarvunian scholar (1109-1180) active in Chichester during the twelfth century. Was a contemporary of Thomas Becket, with whom he engaged in a lively religious debate throughout his life. Ribbins wrote many Tarvunian works, including the epic poem Horrormorron.
At the age of 71, Ribbins was found guilty of being a dragon and was hanged at the height of the British Dragon Trials.
